    Hi Peter,

I think your Responsive Menu is exactly what I am looking for, but I got a problem:

I installed it as WP Admin and configured it, but it wont appear on my site.
I set the width for the menu to 1000 px and my “normal” menu does disappear as I wished at this point, what proves that something happens, but the responsive menu won’t show up.

Do I have to add some div containers, like “click-menu” or “responsive-menu” to my <head> area or should the Plug-In create these automatically?

    Greetings

  • Dear Peter,

i would love to use your plugin but it doesn’t show up in my theme. I am using the x-theme

the <div id=”click-menu”></div> and the id responsive menu is included on my page, i think. i don’t know if it is at the right place of the <head>
    my website is https://www.maximcado.com
would be great if you could help me, i’m trying to get it to work for a long time…

    Hi violin,

It is working perfectly, however the 3 lines are displayed as white and the top backgrund of your site is white.

Please change the line colours to something contrasting and you will see it.

    Many thanks

    Peter

    Hi Peter
I installed the plugin but it is not showing up. the calls are in the header and footer; however in the header there is this, which is calling a hook of the particular theme:

    <?php
    cryout_header_hook();
    wp_head(); ?>

    Is this causing the problem?

    Hi scuipu,

    Potentially, but unlikely.

As long as the wp_head() and wp_footer() are there in the header.php and footer.php files it should be fine unless your theme is manipulating these in some way.

Please provide me with a link to your website so I can take a look for you.

    Many thanks

    Peter

    Hi scuipu,

    I’m a little bit confused.

I just went on your site and it’s showing up and working perfectly. Did you do something to make it work?

    Many thanks

    Peter

No; it must have just taken a long time to refresh. But I see that it’s there on the iPhone view. However the old menu is also there. Is there a way to get rid of the old menu so that just the one from your plugin appears – BUT the regular design stays on the desktop version? I guess I’m confused.

    Hey scupiu,

Sure, not a problem, just add the following to the “CSS of Menu to hide” option box and hit update:

    #access

Let me know if this does it for you.

    Many thanks

    Peter

Yes! Thank you so much! Now it is working perfectly and I understand better how the settings operate. This is a great plug-in!

    Hey scupiu,

Not a problem, always happy to help!

Great news that it’s working for you now and thanks for downloading and using it!

    Many thanks

    Peter

    Hi Peter,

You helped me 2 weeks ago when I was designing a website. I’ve now moved that site over to a client’s server and am trying to replicate the responsive menu settings. It looks as though I replicated everything but for some reason I am now getting 2 sets of 3 bars – one in the upper right, where I want, and one on the left – smaller – that looks just the same but doesn’t appear to DO anything. I click it and nothing happens. I can’t figure out where it is coming from and why it’s there and how to get rid of it.

    Thanks in advance,

    Hi scuipu,

This doesnt really make sense to be honest.

Please provide your site URL so I can look at this for you.

    Many thanks

    Peter

    I thought I did. It’s

    https://www.c-t-susa.com

    I just solved the problem.

Turns out the theme (Parabola) had been updated and I installed the latest one; and the theme developers had themselves installed a responsive menu for mobile devices – and with your plug-in activated I was seeing both. I de-activated your plugin and now theirs shows. Which is fine.

I am still very happy with your plug-in and will use it with other wordpress themes.

    Thank you!

    Hey scupiu,

Great you got the answer you were after!

    Many thanks

    Peter
