    Hi Madtang,
Did you know that you can create custom font controls using this plugin by going to Settings > Google Fonts? This would allow you to override the navigation styles that have been applied by your themes stylesheet. Do you have a link to your website that I could see, then I will be able to give you a set of example instructions on creating a font control.

That would be amazing. The site is uvarts.com

The Google fonts plugin is not installed on this live site, but on a local copy i am working. everything is basically the same though.

    Hi Madtang,
Here are the instructions on creating the navigation control

    • Log in to your WordPress admin area and go to: Settings > Google Fonts
    • Click create new font control and give your font control a name e.g Navigation and click the Create Font Control button. (If no other custom font controls exist then it will take you straight to the add new control screen)
    • Once you have created your new font control enter the following text in the Add CSS Selectors input box: #mainmenu li a (Press tab after each selector)
    • Click the Save Font Control button
    • Visit the customizer and you will see your new font control which will allow you to control the site navigation

The instructions are the same for each font control that you would create. The only difference would be the name of the control and the css selectors that it is controlling. If you don’t have any CSS knowledge any basic developer should be able to give you a hand with it.

Let me know how you get on. Cheers

I’m not able to change the Menu font on my website either. Website is mindynolt.com, which uses Hemingway Rewritten. I was able to change my title font by slightly tweaking the instructions you gave in another topic, but can’t seem to make it work here. Thanks.

Thanks so much! That works perfectly. One other slightly related question. In my title font CSS selector I entered h1.site-title, which changes the font, but isn’t changing color. Am I missing something?
    Thanks again!

    Hi Jared,
Yes, that selector should be: h1.site-title a
Try that and let me know how you get on. Also I was wondering if you could rate this plugin on WordPress when you get a moment. Thanks

    Sunny

That works great! I can change the color now. Thanks! Will do.

Great, glad you’ve got it working!

    Hey guys,

I’m also using Hemingway Rewritten. Does anybody know how to make it so the page titles don’t appear on the actual pages, but instead only on the menu?

    Thanks!

    Hi Brett,
I’m not familiar with the theme so I couldn’t answer that for you. Your best bet is to contact the theme author or view the support threads for that particular theme to see if anyone can help you there. Cheers
