I have a default WordPress theme that i use when the users browse from desktop, when users browse the site with mobile the plugin (Any mobile theme switcher) calls the Responsive theme (which is inactive by default). I have setup 2 custom menu in this theme, but if i deactivate this theme and make active the desktop theme the changes are lost and browsing from mobile it just show all the pages published.

I would understand if the problem is:

    – by WordPress: the inactive themes can’t have custom menus
    – by Any mobile theme switcher plugin
    – by Responsive theme

    Thanks in advice
    Simone

  • Simone,

So you’re using Twenty Twelve Theme for desktop and Responsive Theme for your mobile site, if so may I please ask why?

Twenty Twelve Theme is using flexible widths, therefore it’s “Responsive” and Responsive Theme is not needed.

As far as the plugin which switches from one Theme to another, honestly not really sure how that works.

Please confirm the Themes and the plugin switcher.

    Thanks,
    Emil

Hello Emil, no im using Uraniumoid by PADD Solutions as “desktop” theme, unfortunately this is not responsive but i need to use it for my project. So i use the plugin switcher because when users browse the site for mobile it proper display a mobile responsive theme (inactive by default)

    thanks for your support
