You can achieve this requirement using the Astra Pro, we have a Sticky Header feature.

And you can even create a Transparent Header.

Or you can create a Header using the Elementor – Header Footer plugin, where it does provide a Sticky option.

I believe the Sticky function is no longer available on the Elementor – Header, Footer, and Blocks plugin. I do not see it under Motion Effects, which is what the tutorial says to go to in order to enable the Sticky function.

In that article, step 4 is not possible. The Motion Effects tab does not look like that anymore. There is no “sticky” option.

Sorry for the confusion. The motion effects option is provided with the Elementor’s Pro version.

Well, we do have another document being worked upon to achieve this requirement with custom CSS.

In the meanwhile, you will need to try some other custom CSS to achieve this requirement, until we share the document.

Where do I type the CSS code? The CSS section on elementor is not there for me unless I upgrade to pro.

You can use the Child theme’s style.css file to insert any custom CSS.

Or from the Additional CSS from the theme’s customizer.

There are even plugins like WP Add Custom CSS to insert custom CSS.
