• Just installed the WPtouch Mobile plugin and so far it appears to work fantastically with one caveat.

The menu icons in preview mode all display as as a single box symbol (see here) https://1e9a6aa6-a-62cb3a1a-s-sites.googlegroups.com/site/whiwo65/home/miscellaneous/WPtouch.PNG

On my Android phone, the icons all appear as variations of the infinity symbol.

This doesn’t appear to change whether I have “use menu icons” enabled or not.

I installed three more icon sets thinking I could preview which one I preferred to use and am not certain how to uninstall them since none are working anyway (including the default elegant icons set).

Lastly, the original WP Super Cache instructions provided by the mobile plugin was a bit confusing in the top line in bold. It appears to suggest that the WP Touch support option should be disabled for the Pro version under the plugins tab but does not indicate whether it should be enabled for the free version.

I’m all to happy to purchase a Pro version of this plugin but not until I can establish that every aspect of what I’m purchasing is fully compatible with my theme. Maybe it’s something I’ve overlooked but any suggestions on how to fix the problem would be greatly appreciated.

  • I’m having the same exact issue.

I am running two separate sites, one it works fine on, the other it does not.

Here is a side by side comparison.

I’m thinking this has to do the my image optimization plugin I just installed. Trying to get it fixed now.

If you are using Jetpack on your WordPress site there seems to be an incompatibility between WPTouch and the Jetpack mobile settings.

I had the same issues – mobile preview of my menu looked great, but when I checked on my mobile it was a hot mess!

After deactivating Jetpack (“mobile theme”) I checked again on my mobile and all was good!

To do this just do the following:

Jetpack Settings -> scroll down to ‘Mobile Theme” -> click ‘Deactivate”.

    Hope that helps.

    I have the same problem

    Jetpack ‘Mobile Theme” is’Deactivate”.

Please try the following and see if this helps.

    ? YOUR WEB URL /wp-admin/options-general.php

    Double check the directory structure.

I have switched to a Responsive Theme and abandoned WP-Touch, but if this helps others, please respond so that others can fix their issue.

    What can I do here: mysite/wp-admin/options-general.php ??

    havasuscannerfeed please please help !
