Working on menu, and got to a point when ever I added another item to my submenu one of the top level navigation links disappeared, and it would not let me add it back in, now if I deleted the submenu item, I could add the top tier link again – Is there some kind of limit om the number of items you can have in the menu?

Do you have a lot of items, say more than 70? If so, it’s likely a server limitation, not the theme or WP. See:

Yes, more then 70 – My client is having me work on this site after she had a fall out with the other designer. I have access to the WP files, but after further review of them, they aren’t the ones associated with her site. The database being referenced is on her hosting, but is it possible for the site files to be on a remote server that only the other designer has access to?

Are you sure you’re looking in the correct place on the server? Have you asked the hosting company?

Think I found what I was looking for, saw the WordPress dir, but didn’t notice the admin, cont and include folders outside of the folder. That code for the php.ini file, I can place it anywhere in that file?

ok, I am SOL – Godaddy’s shared servers dont support suhosin

Oh bummer. In that case, you might rethink how you are organizing the items in your menu? That big gets pretty unwieldy sometimes anyway.
