• Good morning

Please let me address following Issues:

    Concerning the Menu appearance
    1. I observed that in a narrow Screen width (mobile or Portrait Tablet Format) with the mobile Version of the Header (Top) and the Menu accordion staying stretched down (Menu Box click), if I return to a wider screen Dimension (I used the side Border of my Fx Browser)the whole Header Section becomes, as expected, a Left Header(in my case with a picture as background) but the content vanishes (Logo, Social Icons and Menu). If I hover over the Menu area it seems that its invisible but clickable. Only after refreshing the page it appears again.

    2. With an older 1024×600 Res.Netbook I’ m using, even for checkout reasons (Not everybody uses this years Samsung or iPad Tablet), the Menu inside the left Header shows partially. I have (a normal number) 7 Pages in the Menu and only 41/2 show up. The rest is outside the bottom Border and its impossible to be reached or scrolled. (Triggered by another members previous relative Post and your respective answers I would humbly suggest to implement in the coming update a kind of scrolling, if its codeable).

    3. I also observed that if all 4 bottom sidebars are filled with a widget they are aligned in two rows (two sidebars in each row). Is it possible to have all four in one row each of them occupying 1/4. ?

Thank you in advance and I also think that this special Theme fits not just for a Blogger but easily for an unique minimal Website. f.e. a small, family local store.

Hi Alex…thank you for your observations regarding the menu. Other than yourself, there have been a few others who experience similar menu/content issues with the left sidebar column when changing tablet orientation from vertical to landscape while the menu is toggled to show submenu items.

I’ve been trying to figure out what is causing this effect where a person has to refresh the screen. I was actually able to replicate the issue in my iPad when in portrait view and the menu is toggled to show the submenu items, then turn the tablet to landscape, the sidebar column content is hidden. This one is a very difficult one to pinpoint so I will try my best to figure out what is causing it.

With the next theme update, I will be addressing some elements, such as the option to change the menu font size so to gain additional vertical space. This will benefit anyone who has more than 6+ menu items.

Regarding the widgets…these are coded to be responsive where on wider screens, you can get 4 side-by-side. If the screen gets smaller, they will change to a 2 column layout, then on even smaller screens, they change to 1 column (vertically lined down). This layout was setup to ensure enough column space was available for as wide variety of content as possible.

However, the responsive values can be changed as needed, but then this will require a child theme setup and modifications of at least 2 theme files.

Thanks Shaped Pixels for your extensive reply and interest.
Looking forward for your coming Update.
I managed to gain some space in the vertical menu Version with some custom CSS. But there would be a Problem if someone has f.e. 4-5 Submenus underneath one of his main Menu Page near his Menu bottom and toggles. I still think a kind of scroll there would be perfect.

Hi Alex…what custom CSS did you apply to gain some space? Anyway, I am hoping the updates will help out, even if by a little more. The design concept for this particular theme is a bit specialized in a sense it’s not for large menus, but I’m sure I can make some adjustments that won’t cause too many headaches.

*I will be uploading the update to Seasonal this week.

    Hi,

Concerning your comment: In this case with Siteorigin CSS plugin and reducing the line height in site-nav.l.
In this way I could gain some space but definitely not overturn this issue.

Concerning the small Menu-Theme Orientation a 15 Pages Menu would,I agree, not fit, but I saw that even your wonderful demo-Menu has 8 Pages and many Submenu-Pages. Although I have in my case just 7 Menu-Pages, everything is pushed downwards, because of the logo existence at the top.
