Menu issues: Input variables exceeded 1000.

    Hi,

    While saving or trying to add items to my nav menu I get this error:
    Warning: Unknown: Input variables exceeded 1000. To increase the limit change max_input_vars in php.ini. in Unknown on line 0

    some items of the menu disappear and I can’t modify the menu. I can’t even remove items already saved.
    I don’t have access to my php.ini and my hosting provider says that file can’t be modified as it’s a shared hosting.
    What can I do?
