Menu Item Icon Padding Issue

  • I’ve added a phone number to my main menu (located in header) and the icon I’ve activated for it isn’t formatting properly. It formats properly in the preview (Appearance-Menus-Item-Icon) but not when published. Rather than sitting below the text (so the text looks centred with the icon vertically) the icon and text are sitting on the same line.

    Any ideas how to achieve this?

    I FIGURED IT OUT!

    I used the inspect feature in Google Chrome, hovered, scrolled, clicked, copy and pasted my way to the point where I wrote this:

    i.icon.before.elusive.el-icon-phone-alt{
    margin-top: -.1em;
    }

    And it f***ing worked!!!!!

    I can’t believe it.
