Menu item link to page and open epand click

I was wondering if it is possible whan a user links to the page below from a menu item it can auto expand when it scrolls down to the page item.
At the moment it only opens from the expand link, i would like to trigger this from a menu item as well.
I used the find me tag and map tag to scroll back to the top of page and the map tag to stop it expanding on page load.[expand title=”Content is king” trigpos=”below” targclass=”maptastic” findme=”2808″]
