• Hello there,

I’ve encountered a couple of frustrating bugs with WordPress recently. When trying to add a menu item like a category or a page to the menu bar, it just keeps loading endlessly and never actually adds the item. Additionally, in the block editor, every time I edit and save a blog post, I get a dialogue box saying, “Your changes haven’t been saved yet. Are you sure you want to leave this page?” even though the changes have already been saved.

I’ve already tried updating the WordPress version, deactivating and reactivating plugins, clearing cache, and updating PHP, but the issues still persist. It’s such a hassle! Has anyone else experienced these problems or found a workaround?

  • Hey,

Would you mind sharing more details about the menu issue? How are you adding the items to the menu and what theme are you using?

For the post-saving issue, have you tried using a different browser or an incognito (private) window? I am asking because I am anticipating this is a browser caching issue.

Yes, I already tried incognito mode and a different browser. Before, it wasn’t like this, and suddenly it started to malfunction. There’s no error message, only the non-stop spinner (circular loading sign) indicating that it’s processing, but it’s not actually adding the item to the menu bar. Hueman is the theme, and I updated it just a few months ago.
