Menu item not showing even if user is logged in

  • Hi,
    I am not a paid customer. I was using free ultimate member and it forced me to updated to 2.0 as recaptcha was failing as well, now it is asking for a license key
    “Ultimate Member 2.0.4 requires 2.0 extensions. You have pre 2.0 extensions installed on your site.
    Please update Ultimate Member extensions to latest versions. For more info see this doc.”

    I cannot login or create an account on https://ultimatemember.com/
    https://docs.ultimatemember.com/collection/263-20-documentation is really useless, nothing explained much

    You cannot help me here and https://ultimatemember.com/support/ticket/ is only for paid customer.

    At the moment, my member area is gone from the menu, I have set links to show when user is logged in only but it does not show even on login.

    Please help

  • I’m having exact same issue after upgrade. All my menus are missing and member account not showing. What can we do?

    As regards the plugins, which have to be updated as well to support the newest UM version 2.0.4:
    You need to download them manually, like always, but it seems that they changed the way of distribution a little bit. I’m sure until 2.x the free plugins can easily be downloaded, now you have to provide mail address and full name after clicking on download, so that it is actually a purchase. You can instantly download the zip after this step or use the link in the confirmation mail.

    Can you try this (another user “txpmr” suggested this):
    “for those having problems with Navigation breaking go to Appearances -> Menus -> “main menu” make sure the “make main menu” option is checked and poof it’s magically back.”
