Menu Item Options

  • Hi there,

    With this plugin installed the following options are added to menu items:
    -Enhancement options from the theme
    -Mega menu options

    Which I have no problem with, however the way it is implemented makes it difficult to further extend menu items.

    In my specific example, adding custom fields using Advanced Custom Fields(ACF.)

    Please consider reviewing this feature’s implementation to see if can remain while not blocking other 3rd-party additions to this admin area?

    Up until now, there is no way to solve it, and the only way to add options is to override menu walker.

    I have tried to solve this issue many times in the past, but WordPress didn’t offer any solution by actions or filters to extend the menu options in a way that other plugins will play along

    Maybe something has changed in the newest WordPress. I can inspect how ACF is adding their options to the menu, but I don’t expect anything new ??
