• Two days ago I received a block message from Wordfence while saving or updating something (I don’t remember what is was).

Wordfence gave me the option to white-list it, which I did, and the page came back up upon a refresh. Later on, I realized I was unable to expand a post option (those menus at the bottom of every post, such as layout, revisions, excerpt, etc.).

I figured a reboot would fix it. It was the end of the day, so I just shut it down.

I got back on the next day (Yesterday), but the problem was still there. I don’t know if Wordfence is causing the problem, but it seems the likely place to start since it is the only change that I can recall.

The problem seems to affect any exapnding menu (like those in the post edit mentioned above), as well as any HORIZONTAL menu in any plugin settings area.

For example, in the Yoast SEO settings, I go to the “Social” page, which displays 5 horizontal items, but clicking on any of them has no effect.

Another example, in the Social Warfare plugin, none of the horizontal menu items have any effect when clicking them.

    I am running:
    Windows 7
    Chrome (I tried Firefox too)
    WordPress 5.1
    Wordfence 7.2.2

Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated.

    Scott
