Menu language doesn’t change

    Hello, when I click to change language the menu doesn’t change, only the text from the page. It seems that the page doesn’t reload correctly.

    Any ideas how to fix this?

    Hello Symeon,

    From what I can see, the menu appears translated if the language is changed from the URL by adding /en/

    Since this looks a lot like a conflict with some other code, the first recommended step is the conflict test (ideally in a staging environment):

    ??Briefly disable all other plugins and enable the default Twenty Twenty theme. Please also disable all add-ons. If this fixes the problem, as it probably will, enable everything one by one, checking each time to see when the problem returns.

    Hello Anca,

    As I was suspecting, the issue is with theme, I switched to Twenty Twenty and it worked.

    Since I cannot change the theme now, is there any workaround for this?

    Maybe a javascript code to redirect to /en/ once the toggle is clicked ?

    Hello Anca,

    This is the theme https://themeforest.net/item/soho-clean-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/, but I don’t have the latest version of it since it was built from another developer and I don’t have access.
