menu missing (broken) in latest version of theme

  • So I started using the Adelle theme to create a simple blog for my dad, and got it looking nice very quickly and easily. Then I updated to the new version as there was a more recent one.

    Now the black menu bar is missing. Not only does it look bad but obviously, no one can select a page from the menu because it is not there.

    I think this must be a problem for everyone..? Anyone able to fix it, offer a workaround? Or should I go find a different theme altogether?

  • On Saturday morning, I contacted bluchic, the developer because my menu stopped working on my iPhone. So apparently this is a problem! They referred me to the Adele thread in the forum, but there’s nothing so far that has helped! They said they would look into it!

    I figured out how to fix it myself after checking out their site and not seeing any help. It’s a common problem cause there are several other posts like this about it.

    To fix it, go to the menu admin screen and create a new menu with the same pages. Now remove (delete) the original menu. This fixed it on mine.

    I did this but it didn’t change one thing on my mobile device. My menu works perfectly fine on my computer and iPad but not on my iPhone. Any other suggestions? Thank you
