• Hi There,

I have created a child theme for Hemlock and I was able to move my nav in header.php file but now the header and page scroll behind the nav. It seems to be in a fixed position. I have tried a bunch of things but haven’t been able to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry, but you’re using a premium/paid theme. It’s best to go to the support site where you bought the theme – https://solopine.com/theme/hemlock/ – for help with customizations and issues. You paid for support when you bought the theme, so you should contact the people who sold you the theme. These forums are for themes available in the WordPress theme directory at www.ads-software.com/themes/. See https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome#Commercial_Products

Thanks Songdogtech. I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to get css help on that or not. Now I know.

I will contact her and see what she has to say.

Side note, are you really a bear trapper? If you are you should check out my friends new out door gear. It is pretty cool vsslgear.com . He just finished his kick starter campaign and he is expecting product delivey mid dec. He was a trapper in northern canada as a boy.

    Thanks again.

I got some training as a research trapper (and am a certifed wolf trapper, too), but only out of research interest; I’m not a commercial trapper. Interesting stuff at that site; thanks for pointing it out.

Check out Firebug with Firefox, or use the developer tools in Chrome or Safari or IE to see what’s loading on your site and how to work with and change the CSS and HTML. Dev tools are essential to working on sites.
