    Hello Chris, Mark from Miami here. We have corresponded many times via my ubermenu setup. Your shiftnav is also superb. I have the breakpoint set at the default 960px. My samsung android looks great. I have an ASUS tablet. The width of the actual screen is 6 inches so that is about 600 pixels. The mobile menu should show but doesn’t. In portrait mode it does. Any ideas? Thanks as always.

    Hi Mark,

    Hope you’re doing well. The pixel size of the tablet screen actually has very little relationship to the physical width of the device. My guess is that the width of your tablet in landscape mode is actually 960px or larger. Most tablets in landscape mode are designed to show the “full size” desktop website.

    You might want to go to this site: https://whatismyviewport.com/ and check what the actual pixel size of your viewport is.

    The viewport meta tags also play a role here – but if the menu is showing up properly when the device is rotated, it sounds like the media queries are working properly and the viewport is probably just larger than you’re expecting.

    Best,

    Chris

    Hi Mark,

    Yup, that just means that the ASUS screen is 1024px or wider in landscape.

    You can hide theirs by adding

    .mk-header-inner

    as a selector in the ShiftNav Control Panel (where you hide the theme menu) ??

    Have a good one!

    Hi Mark,

    Part of that is just empty space at the top of your image, but you can shift it up like this

    .shiftnav-main-toggle-content img{
        margin-top:-15px;
    }

    Glad to hear it’s working well for you now ??
