    Hi. Great plugin!

I’m having an issue on my site. I’m using CMW to display menus in the sidebar of most pages on my site. It shows fine on most, however, it’s missing on some.

Here’s one of the working pages: https://nnmc.edu/home/facultystaff-gateway/facilities/
    Here’s one of the non-working pages: https://nnmc.edu/home/facultystaff-gateway/business-services/

They use the same template, are in the same level of hierarchy and are not very different in terms of content type. I’m just not sure why it won’t show. Any ideas?

    The shortcode generated by the plugin: [cmwizard menu=51 branch=current depth=2 fallback=”parent,1″ exclude=”12777,14068,14059,14066,14072,14061,12793,12794,12795,12796,12799,12802,17995,15991,15993,15994,15995,15996,15997,15998,15999,16000,16001″ title_from=”current” flat_output=1 contains_current=”primary” container=”nav”/]

If I look at the sidebar menu on the Facilities Department page, there are a number of items – Administration, Business Office, Human Resources – which have links like .../?page_id=nnnn instead of fancy links. Clicking any one of those 3 sidebar links gets me to a page that doesn’t have a sidebar (such as the Business Office page you mention).

May I suggest that you modify those links in your menu structure so that the actual link is a fancy URL, not a ?page_id URL, and see if that solves your problem?

    Sure. I’ll do that now.
We just fixed our Permalinks at the same time. We are actually running this thing on a Windows box with IIS, so we had to do the Permalinks manually through its rewrite function. I forgot to mention that previously.

That fixed it. It actually turned out that those links were Custom Links instead of Pages. That’s what was throwing it off.

    Thanks for your help!

    No problem. Glad you’re sorted!
