Menu not showing up

    I placed the generated code
    ‘<shortmenu menu=”Menu 2″ display=”inline” enhance=”false”>’

    in my index.php file because I wanted it to be directly above my header image (craftbehr_header1.jpg) and it is not showing up. I also tried putting the code into the header.php file and it didn’t show up there either. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong but would appreciate the help.
