Giving this theme a try on a new site I have in dev…I seem to be doing something wrong though. I can’t get the custom menu to appear – the menu bar just continually only shows “Home” even though there’s 3 pages on the custom menu – and there’s only 1 custom menu, and it’s assigned to the only place there is to assign a menu to.

    ???

Also, is there a trick to posting an image (on the home page at least) that’s full-width like in the thumbnail? I seem to get mine framed inside the content window…

Also, the comments widget is assigned to that homepage area, but isn’t showing up either. This is a clean install – only this theme and the breadcrumbs thing is installed.

…well, I found that switching the template for my “home” page from Landing Page (which is what I thought one would use for the Home page) to Full Width Without Title that it actually gets the menu.

But the comments widget still doesn’t show up, and I still can’t figure out how to make the picture fill the whole content area.

…and what is the Landing Page for if not for the home page?

    Hi Wootie,

the Landing Page template displays only the page content without the menu, right sidebar, comments area and footer widget areas. You can use it for creating a temporary home page before your website will be ready for the public launch. Here in Theme Documentation, you can learn more about all custom page templates available in this theme.

The “Latest Posts Homepage widget area” can be displayed only on the Latest posts homepage, not on a Static front page. In this case, I recommend you to use the Page Builder by SiteOrigin for placing any widgets into the page content.

If you would like to show a full width image, I recommend you to set it as the header image in “Appearance > Header”.

    Best regards,

Thanks Tomas…I am confused as to how the Appearance > Header bit actually targets that content frame (rather than what actually sits at the top of the screen), but that did indeed put my image in the content frame at full width.

I’ll play with the other stuff…thanks again.
