Menu "original" overrides new URL
-
I moved a page from one sub-menu to another and now, although it is functional, it displays the original URL (which, AFAICT, doesn’t exist any more). How can I fix the URL?
The page is called “Distance therapy” and it is correctly positioned in Appearance>Menus as a sub-sub item, i.e.:
Healing
>Reiki
>>Distance TherapyThe menu renders correctly in the browser but this page loads as
https://www.beautyandsoul.net/buy/distance-therapy/
— which is where it began its life before I moved it.It seems to be picking this URL up from the “Original” field in Appearance>Menus (which may or may not be useful provenance to know under some circumstances). But I would rather kill it if it means the repositioned page will display the correct URL. Problem is there isn’t any editable text in the “Original” field — and when I try to edit the Permalink on the page itself, only the last part of the URL is editable.
How should I do it? TIA.
