My menu page in my admin appearance is blank except a dot in upper left corner. I have completed ALL of the steps mentioned in other post (increase php memory, upgrade and re-install wp-admin wp-includes, reset plug-ins), still blank. This seems to have happened sometime after installing a plug in Events Calendar Pro – WordPress Premium Plugin.

  • If you have deactivated that plugin and all goes back to normal, then you will need to contact the developer for support.

I wish it would go back to normal but it wont. My host co found this erro Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /hsphere/local/home/c210057/bridgesoflightfoundation.org/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 433

The prob is also in the default theme.

A Google search seems to be pointing to a taxonomy issue. Have you created a category, placed it in a menu, and then deleted the category?

If you can revert to a database backup, that might work.

Perfect, that was it. But I did not have a backup I could go to so I looked in my trash and deleted all categories and post in there and also did same in pages trash. Something was in one of those.
    Thanks for your help!!!!!!

i had a same problem with menu.

i create a menu a one theme. Next i swithed to the second theme and my menu tab didn’t work, and it was in all themes. I installed again the first theme and delete menu from there (in this theme it works!) and that solved the problem.

    sorry for my english =)
