Menu position Center doesn’t stick when saved

Menu position (for “main” menu) when set as center previews fine, but doesn’t activate.
If i leave customize options after settings center, and go back in – it has reverted to align right.

I am working with a child theme but essentially empty css at the moment.

Any ideas if this is a bug or if i can just override with child css?
