Menu problem after updating to WP 4.0

  • Hi,

    I just updated WP from version 3.6 to 4.0
    After the update a problem with the menu occured in our responsive theme website. Instead of showing each menu with their dropdown menu options, all sectioned are now seperate menu sections (which are quite a few in our case).

    Any idea how to solve this? In the admin part (appearance/menu) nothing weird can be found.

  • Check with cyberchimps, where you got your theme from. They most likely are aware of the problem and will be able to direct you with a fix or updated theme.

    Seems that the menu no longer is selected (check the location for you menu).
    Does your menu have many items? If you have too many items, saving the menu can break it (due to a php limitation setting in some web servers).
