• Hi folks,
Friends have asked me to help out with their site since the person that built it for them isn’t able to at the minute, but I’m a bit stuck.
They used to have three different menus live in their theme, but now it will only show one menu repeated three times. If you follow the link to the page you’ll see what I mean (there used to be one for the more general info, and then two more showed the years: one for 2008-2013 and another 2014-2018).
I’ve tried deleting the menus and recreating them with no joy, and tried shifting it over to a different theme and then coming back, again without any success. If I make a new menu, it just replaces this one – and displays it three times.
When I’m editing in Live Preview, the preview doesn’t actually update to show any changes, only after they’ve been published can the changes be seen. This doesn’t seem right, though I’ve mainly used wordpress.com in the past, so is the interface perhaps different with .org?
I’ve made sure the themes and plugins are all updated, and am at a bit of a loss as to what else to do.
Does anyone who’s smarter than me have any thoughts on what else I could try.
I don’t have super in depth knowledge of what I’m doing, so if any responses could take that into account that would be magic!
    Thanks in advance,
    Tim

    Yup – they’re called ‘Information’, ‘2008-2013’ and ‘2014-2018’.
Like I say, it used to work fine for my friend, and then the formatting went weird for some reason that she doesn’t understand. She thinks it was around the time that she made a new category ‘2018’, but isn’t completely sure.
