Menu similar to Google

  • Dear WordPress Forum,

    I am interested in creating a menu similar to https://www.google.com for a project. So the menu would be top aligned but would align left even if the blog itself is aligned center and (if possible) would be capable of alligning some menu items on the left and others on the right.

    I looked around for methodologies or plugins, but the search terms for this seem to be to broad or something, I get a lot of unrelated results.

    Does anyone know of a plugin or code hack that can accomplish a topalign menu similar to what you see on google?

    I can tole the background horizontally at the top so that there is a long black menu, but I’d like to actually have it have the functionality of having the menu left aligned rather than center aligned.
