    Does there exist a plugin to help give more control to the Appearance -> Menu section in the WordPress Admin?

    I need more functionality, I think? I want to add separators and maybe sections to a menu drop down but can’t seem to find a way to do this.

    Example:

    Menu Item 1
    –Section 1
    —-Sub Item a
    —-Sub Item b
    —-Sub Item c
    —-Sub Item d
    _______________
    –Section 2
    —-Sub Item a
    —-Sub Item b

    I don’t want Section 1 to be clickable, I just want them there for extra guidance. I’d like to be able to add a separator, such as after Sub Item d / Section 2.

    Does any such plugin exist or am I missing out on how to do this with the current setup?

    add a custom menu item and don’t give it a link
    for the seperatoy add a custom menu item there and use some CSS to put the line as it’s background image.
