• Hello everyone,

I am a bit lost. I build a menu to my impressum and the privacy statement.

Suddenly it does not wor anymore.

If I am adding pages to the menu, either nothing happens if I klick the link or I am receiving

“Not Found The requested URL /testseitete/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

I tried to build news pages, included them in the menu, which hasen’t worked still.

    Maybe this ist interesting:
    * I recently switched to Https
    * I am using the theme divi with the newest update
    * I use the newest wordpress version 5.0 and switched off the Gutenberg

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Is the URL /testseitete/ the correct folder for your WP installation? Do you only have trouble with the menu interface? Are you using the customizer or Appearance > Menus from the side menu?

The messages you are seeing indicate a server configuration problem that is outside of WP. The errors quoted occur before WP is even started up. Is your server running mod_security? That module is often the cause of bizarre server behavior. Also be sure your .htaccess rules related to WP are correct. The “not found on this server” and 404 ErrorDocument errors should not ever occur with WP pretty permalinks enabled.

How have you “switched off” Gutenberg? A bit of filter code perhaps? You should disable that code and instead install and activate the Classic Editor plugin to avoid using Gutenberg. This is now the suggested way to avoid Gutenberg.
