  • I’m sorry but as you appear to be using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developer/vendor. We do not have access to, nor do we support, commercial products here.

vidhyaprakash85 did you already solve this issue? because you can assign a class to your menu items at the top Menus you will see Screen Options and select CSS classes then in the integrity-light.css file you just add the color properties to each class of the menu, you can also handle the x-navbar class in the same css page and change the behavior of the whole menu…

    Hope that this helps.

I would like to edit the X theme CSS. So I open the editor and…where is it? A style sheet with a paragraph and nothing below it to edit. Am I missing something? I’d like to change the slider bottom border color and the menu tab accent color. I don’t know why the designers have to smack a bright red instead of a neutral tone. It’s a real pain in the _ _ _. Especially with the drop cap shortcode. Just give us defaults with neutral colors guys! And a simple way to change color. 2014 has a colors plugin. It works great.
But anyway, I’d really appreciate some advice or suggestions. I can change it in the elements panel temporarily, of course, but how do I get to the real style sheet? I was on twenty Fourteen and switched to X. I have a child theme for 2014. Is that something that could affect the X Style CSS?

Here’s the site in question. You’ll see the red instantly, so you’ll know which elements I want to change in the header and slider.

Thank you kindly for any assistance or advice,

    Eric

I know its kind of tricky i see that you find out where to change the bright red color from the menu, now i see that you might be using the Integrity Stack with the Light Theme color

the style sheet of the X Theme Integrity light is in wp-content/themes/X/ framework/css/site/stacks/integrity-light.css

and you just need to find the class that you want to change, always remember to make a copy of the files that you are changing. It took me a while to find it too but after that is really easy to customize. Good Luck!

    Thank you for your reply.
Pardon my ignorance, but where do I go to find this? I’ve been to Themes, I select “Appearance, Edit and Style css for X and an incomplete file pops up. Where do I enter the info to bring up the actual CSS? Do I paste that URL into my address bar or ctrl-F? It’s how to get to the actual CSS that I can’t seem to figure out. The exact steps. I pasted it into the bar and a search comes up with links to css, but is it my css? I’m confused. There are no obvious indicators where to go to customize X anywhere in Themes except the “Customizer”, or “Appearance” then “Edit” and that brings up the CSS with no elements under the ID. No indicators for “Integrity light” CSS, so if you got to it, could you please tell me how you did it?
There’s no problem finding it in 2014. All the style sheets and php files are right there in 2014’s editor when you open it up.

    Thank you,

    Eric

My bad, you need to access these files through your FTP client, and get in the theme folder inside the installation of wordpress thats how i change the styles but you need knowledge of CSS, another way to achieve this is by the Custom CSS that X Theme have available in the Customizer. You just need to find the class of the object that you want to change here is an example of what i do to edit my themes HERE Hope this helps!
