I want to restrict visibility of certain menu items to certain roles of Logged In users. This used to work, but now it appears to work only for Admin or all logged in users. I have a role “CLSG Student” which I would like to see otherwise invisible menu items. Can you help? This is quite a big deal.

    Cheers,

    Hi @baffo2000,

What version of the Ultimate member plugin you have installed on your site?
Can you please try to do a conflict test so we can rule out conflicts with other plugins or your theme that may cause this issue.
Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure how to do it.

    Regards.

    Hi,

    Thanks for getting back.

I have Version 1.3.88 installed. I have tried saving conditional menu items for roles other than admin with no other plugins activated, on Twenty Fifteen and Twenty Sixteen and they still won’t save the other roles, just admin.

I have tried If Menu and that has the same issue.

    Any advice?

I’ve sorted it. I had a lot of menu items and so WordPress was not allowing me to add conditions to items far down the list. I’ve increased the max menu items in the php.ini file to 3000 which has resolved the issue.

    Cheers,

    Tom
