Menu won't scroll when opened on right side

If the menu is positioned to the left everything is fine, but if switched to the right scrolling moves the page beneath the menu instead of the menu. Setting the menu icon to Fixed does fix the problem but is not what the design calls for.
Doesn’t happen in desktop browser, just on the iPhone
