menu_order not working

  • Hi,
    I have a site set up where I’m using the pagelist plugin to show sibling pages, by menu order on the page sidebar (see here for example; I’m using it for the “About MEI” sidebar section: https://mei.umd.edu/about-mei/what-we-do/)

    My client just added a new page, which is first under “About MEI”, called “Our Mission” – the only trouble is, this page is now showing up in the correct order in the sidebar. It’s the first sub-page in the menu, but the last item on the sidebar, which is set to “menu-order.”

    Could you help me figure out why this is happening?
