• First off let me say this is exactly what I was looking for and it works perfectly and the way you would want it to work … great plugin!

The only thing I don’t get a 100% are the templates. I have no problems setting them up and changing an existing template like Suckerfish but somehow I can’t have my own templates.

By creating a subfolder in the template folder in the Plugin directory and adding my personal CSS files, they do show up in the WP back-end selection but are not applied. What could I do wrong or could maybe someone using personal templates explain how you did set it up?

    Thanks for your help.

  • Hello Aquadonis,

to write a new template please make sure that, if the stylesheet filename is mystyle.css, then all its CSS rules must begin with .mystyle. An alternate way to customize your style is to simply edit one of the existing templates.

Thank you for your appreciation of Menubar!

Thanks for this prompt answer dontdream. I didn’t start all my classes with the same name as the filename. Setting up menus has never been easier thanks to your wonderful Plugin!

@dontdream – thanks again … it’s working great. This is the best navigation Plugin out there! Great job!

Unfortunately, it’s on a development site and not open to the public but I will post a link as soon as the site is up so other will be able to see how smooth your Plugin integrates in any design.

So the site is finally up. Almost all of the menus are using this great Plugin. Check it out at https://www.theraceclub.net

@aquadonis – I’m glad you find Menubar useful, and I wish you good luck with your new site!

@dontdream – the decision to use your Plugin wasn’t only based on the fact that it’s the easiest way to handle navigation in WP. But mostly because my client wanted to be able to change the menus without getting back to me all the time for such a small thing.

Menubar makes it easy for the developer to set up and keeps it simple for the end-user to make changes if necessary.

    Again, great Plugin. Thanks!
