Menus

menus are pretty straight foward in wordpress, you should navigate to appearances on sidebar and then look for menus- open up the menus file and then on your left side you will see a section for pages, just check the pages you want to add to menu and then hit add to menu- after the pages are added you can just click on them and drag them around on the screen to put them in the order you want. Hope this helps. You also may have a primary menu and a secondary menu – check in the themes directions. But all this is, is 2 different locations on your home page for you to create 2 different menus.

Thanks for a quick response.
Do I do the same to post my posts into each menus. Or do I post them as I write my posts.

This happened because I chose a different theme, I think. There’s something I am not doing right, I know it?

before you start posting make sure you create categories, categories can have parents and children underneath, so if you look to the left on the dashboard screen you should see posts, move your mouse over that and you will see categories, click create categories, ( make sure you have a game plan or an organized structure for your categories) because it is ugly to fix later. gets hard.
For example I have a parent category “real estate in this county.”
then underneath I have the children, town 1 , town 2 , town 3,
this is like the menu-for the pages. It keeps the blog organized, don’t understand how tags work yet but if you find out let me know LOL

Really, I am grateful for your prompt replies and help. Its no fun trying to build a businee and being a newbie in the Internet world. I am not giving up, “no pain, no gain” right.
Trying to configure my site with facebook and twitter and the technical words used is unfamiliar to me. I am reading up and learning the jargons, is proving to be ditticult. On facebook I’m trying to get App id for my site, and the word Namespace I am being asked for, don’t know where to find it, my hosting didn’t send me the right information, maybe they misunderstood me. So what is namespace and where do I get this from.

I understood your well explanation on Categories, thanks..the thing is how do I configure it so my post is posted directory into chosen Category. LOL, I’m still figuring out how tags work too.

ok facebook is a little hard, I recommend you go onto youtube and put in a how to create facebook page- and you will get 5 minute videos on how to do it, you also can get small videos on wordpress also.good luck
