• I’m hoping that someone can help.

    I have a client, here’s the site:

    https://optimalmindset.net

On an iOS device…ipad and iphone, the drop down menus are garbled. This happens consistently on the Home page. It doesn’t appear to happen on other pages in the site.

You go to the site, the page loads, and then you open a drop down menu. At first the menu appears normally, but then all the type scrunches up onto one line. If you leave the menu open and wait for the slide show to refresh, the mneu go back to proper spacing.

    I’m completely confused by this.

I’ve tried deactivating plugins, but that didn’t work.

FYI, my iPad is running 7.1.2 of iOS.

    Please advise!

  • The menu works perfectly on my Iphone 4. I’m running IOS 8.0.2

I wonder if your devices just need to clear the cache. Anyone else see the issue on their device?

@tadpolegraphics: you’re using a premium/paid theme. It’s best to go to the support site where you bought the theme for help with issues. You paid for support when you bought the theme, so you should contact the people who sold you the theme. These forums are for themes available in the WordPress theme directory at www.ads-software.com/themes/. See https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome#Commercial_Products

Thanks to @totaltec for the comment. Based on your experience, I upgraded my iPad to iOS 8.0.2, and the problem is gone! However, I still need to speak to the client about this…as I’m assuming that there are lots of people who are waiting to upgrade their phones and ipads. But at least it gives me an idea of where to start.

Hi @songdotech, I appreciate the rules here on the forum…and certainly don’t want to break them. I reached out to the WordPress community out of pure desperation. I’m working with this client as a favor to another developer. I can’t reach him…family emergency…and the premium theme folks won’t talk to me if I don’t have the license.

This is why I make my clients crazy by insisting that they own every license they use. That way if (for whatever reason) I’m out the picture, they can still have a legal, functioning Website.

Hope you cut me a little bit of slack here.
