Menus Lost in Visual Edit

    Hi Folks,

    I am using classic WP not blocks and have upgraded to WP5.6.

    I updated to AETv5.6.0 but found on the ‘Visual’ tab that there is no scroll bar on the right of the edit screen.

    So, when I scroll down to the bottom of a post using the browser right scroll, all the menus vanish off the top of the screen behind the admin bar and are no longer visible, which makes work impossible.

    The ‘Text’ tab works fine. While there is no scroll bar on the of the edit screen the browser right scroll work as the ‘Text’ tab menus stop at the admin bar, and are still visible.

    Reverting to 5.5.1 restores all functionality.

    Hi,

    found on the ‘Visual’ tab that there is no scroll bar on the right of the edit screen.

    Not sure if this is related to this plugin. There is a setting in Screen Options to turn that scrollbar on or off. Perhaps try changing it and reloading the page couple of times while holding down Shift.

    Thanks for the reply.

    I reloaded the plugin and this time it all worked as expected. Did not need to even check any option settings.

    I got an similar problem.

    Befpr updating to WP 5.6 the menu always was on the top.

    I got same problem which makes work impossible.

    EDIT:
    I tested by removing the extension and reinstalling it. The same error!

    Are you using Firefox? If yes, this is probably the same problem as in https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/scroll-doesnt-work-in-firefox/.

    Please try clicking the “Enable full-height editor and distraction-free functionality” checkbox in Screen Options couple of times to see if that changes anything.

    Thx, working. But will it give a fix for this without deactivating the “full-height editor and distraction-free functionality”?
