I simply solved the problem by removing Sydney version 1.59 and next reinstalling version 1.58 from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/theme/sydney.1.58.zip

My blog is currently using version 1.45 and I would like to update it to version 1.58 (I am scared to update to 1.59, because of the issues people are having with it) Where do I go to get version 1.58?

I think that it’s better to update to the latest version. Just remember about importance of regular full site backups (files and database):

You can deactivate Sydney Toolbox plugin, update the Sydney theme, and activate the plugin back, just in case.
