Just using Genesis w/ a child theme … was hoping this plugin would duplicate menus, as that’s the most laborious task involved (for me) in duplicating a site.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t duplicate the menus. Additionally:

    • Although network activated plugins were network activated, this is what happens when you create a new site anyway; plugins that were activated on a singular-site basis for the site I wanted cloned had to be manually activated and configured, as if I was starting a new sub-site.
    • All of the settings (e.g., an Akismet key) had to be reproduced, as if I was building a new sub-site all over again

So while the author’s intentions are sincere, and the author clearly supports this plugin vigorously, I’m not sure if it does too much other than create a new site just like you’d do if you were manually creating a site.

If there’s a paid package that would duplicate menus and other things I mentioned, I’d absolutely take a look at it.

I did rate it 5 stars; as I mentioned, the intentions are sincere, and it appears the author has put work into this.

    Thanks!
