• I have at least one site, maybe 2 or 3 that when I try to edit menus in backend of WordPress, when I click on any menu it sticks to my pointer and will not release. The only way I can lose it is to click on another link on left menu of Admin and ‘leave page’. I was able to edit with Safari, but not Firefox. Any fixes out there? It is quite terrible.

Does this happen if you use Firefox in safe mode?

Good idea! Unfortunately it does. Just tried.

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

So, install health check, click the troubleshooting button, and see if that fixes it.
