Menus using woocommerce

    Hello!

    I have a question about menus. I do not know if it is woocommerce or my theme that causes it, but I am having trouble managing my menu. All pages automatically shows up in the menu. When i manage menus in the costumizer or in the menus tab, i cannot really find this menu, only a menu with “home” and that is that. Is there any way I can hide certain pages from my menu?

    And: the menu is not visible: only if one hovers over it. The page that one is currently at, is visible in the menu, the other pages have the same color as the background. First I thought this was something I had done in the costumizer, but i cant really find how to fix it. Any tips?

    Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
    Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Hi @nellik22,

    Thanks for sending over that site status! I was able to see what you described here.

    What you will likely need to do is go to Appearance > Menus and click on the Manage Locations tab. Once you’re there, assign the menu you created with only “Home” is assigned to this location on your page / site theme.

    Themes will register different menu locations and you can assign menus accordingly. The available locations will depend on your site theme, but here is what it looks like on my site:

    As you noticed, the inactive color for these menu items is currently set to your site background color. This is possibly something that you did in the customizer, with CSS or it may be part of your site’s theme. If your menu has more items at a later date, you’ll definitely want to adjust this so that the other menu items are visible against your site background.

    Hello!

    Yes, you were right! Now it works, thank you!!

    Now it is just the colors…I have tried to change everything in the costumizer, but maybe I have added some css without remembering. That is a problem – how to I eventually find the right css-part? there is so much that has changed. Is it possible to override it?

    Hey there,

    I’m glad to hear it is working now! For the colours, it may need to be changed via CSS or your theme may have some options for making those changes – I’d recommend reaching out to the theme developers to see what options they offer for customization
