Menus vs Custom Menus

  • I am using 2010 Weaver theme. It support 2 menus and Custom menus.

    What is the difference?

  • I don’t use Weaver but I believe it includes two menus that show links to your pages by default and are customizable through Appearance->Menus.

    I guess I should have been clearer on my question.

    What is the difference between a ‘menu’ and a ‘custom menu’ ?

    Nothing. If your theme supports it, you can replace an automatically generated menu with a custom one in Appearance->Menus. That’s it. From that wording:

    It support 2 menus and Custom menus.

    I would assume it means that the theme has two places for menus and that it supports replacing them with custom menus.
