• Hi there,
I have a problem with Lightbox. I have downloaded Meow Gallery and Meow Lightbox. I have made a Meow Gallery with six images. When I preview the gallery and click on the lightbox it shows 12 images! It’s picking up from two galleries from my footer.
Any help will be gratefully received.
    Kind regards,
    Irene

  • Figure out what the “class” is for the footer items that you do not want in the lightbox.
Then add those to the Anti Selector box under Basics in settings. Separate them with a comma.

For example, I have 2 classes for the Anti Selector:
    .wp-show-posts-image, .OutoftheBox

    To find the classes:
For Chrome, you click F12, then the little arrow at the top left of the developer window, then hover over the element to find the class name. The class name can be seen after div. for example.

    Hi dzunker22
Thanks so much for your reply.

I’m not very technical, I’m a print magazine editor, who’s had to create a website from scratch using plugins, so please excuse me if my questions sound basic.

My Selector box reads: .entry-content, .gallery, .mgl-gallery, .wp-block-gallery

My Anti Selector currently reads: .blog, .archive, .emoji, .attachment-post-image

I’m using a Firefox browser. (F12 also works on Firefox).

Each media gallery in the footer has the same class:

    <div class=”widget_media_gallery”>

Then there’s a more detailed box for gallery 1 and gallery 2. The info below is for gallery 2:

    <div id=”gallery-2″ class=”gallery galleryid-430 gallery-columns-3 gallery-size-thumbnail”

Which expression would I add to the Anti Selector box?

Or would it be none of the above?

    Regards,
    Irene

I ended up opening the page in Chrome. Is this what I’m I’m looking for?

It is a bit of a trial and error at this point.

You may try .footer-container-wrapper to see if that works. That will keep anything in the footer out of the lightbox.

    Hi dzunker22

Thanks for your suggestions. Unfortunately the lightbox facility has stopped working! I’ve deleted and reinstalled the plugin, but the lightbox is still not responding.

It was a good idea at the time.

    Regards,
    Irene
