• Hi,
    My merchant account was working fine. untill recently for some reason google decided to suspend my account due to : Misrepresentation.

    I have requested to be reviewed but google does not provide good feedback.
    How can I resolve this

    I am afraid we have no reach to Google support or their merchant account management. You will have to resolve this with them.

    I am gonna leave this thread open for people who can chime in with some experiences.

    There are pages and pages of rules explaining why an account can be suspended. “Misrepresentation” is a very vague one, which basically means Google thinks your potential customers will be confused or misled due to poor website design or missing information.

    Here are some popular ones:

    1. Show the following contact methods on your online store / website: business address, phone number, e-mail or contact form, social media business profile (ex. Facebook or Twitter). This must be machine readable on all pages, so in the header or footer of the WordPress theme.

    2. All links to legal documents should be present as well, so “terms and conditions of use”, “privacy policy”, “shipping policy”, “return / refund / exchange policy”, “payment methods accepted” pages must be present and easily accessible, typically in the theme footer.

    3. Taxes and shipping rules for all destinations you “advertise / ship to” must be configured in the Merchant Center.

    4. Also add your business name, address and phone number on the “Business information” page in Merchant Center.

    Hello,

    I had to claim through Google ads multiple reviews.
    so contact google ads team through phone.

    Make sure on your home page you have contact methods visible: email and phone number.
    do not have a message system like whatsapp that requires external sign-on.

    and that all links are there.
    so privacy policy, terms and conditions, cookie policy, shipping/return/refund policy.

    I had all this already. and still google blocked the account. so after severall reviews finally got a manual review and they activated it. and since then no more issues.
