Merge Jetpack Stats

    Hi,

    I’ve recently moved my old site – chasethecompass.wordpress.com to a self-hosted site at chasethecompass.com.

    Is it possible to merge the old stats with the new site? It would be particularly useful as we’ve added a sidebar that shows popular posts and we want to show posts from the past few years.

    I’m afraid that won’t be possible. Jetpack collects stats per post ID, so we’re only able to merge stats from 2 sites when the post IDs between the old posts and the new posts match. If they don’t, if we were to merge stats anyway, you’d get a set of stats associated with Post ID 1 suddenly associated to another post, ID 2 for example.

    I had a look at both of your sites, and it seems that the post IDs don’t match, unfortunately.
