Merge old & new?

You could create a staging WordPress website, and create the pages with the same slugs as the old non-WP website.

After you finish developing the staging website, you can use Duplicator to migrate it to the live website (Replace the non-WP website with the staging website.)

so i recreate the old non-WP pages in the new WP site? and with the same slugs (URL) so when i migrate to Live and replace the non-WP site with the staging site?

– Let’s say you have page with a URL like https://mysite.com/about-us
– You’ve created a staging site https://stagin.mysite.com
– You can create the about us page on the staging website with the same slug as the old site.
– Its URL should be https://stagin.mysite.com/about-us
– When you replace the old site with the staging site, the about us page link will remain as is https://mysite.com/about-us
– This way, you will maintain SEO position

yes, but i don’t want to replace all the old pages.

is to be redirected using htaccess 301 Redirect to the new page:

https://mysite.com/about-us-new

so old and new are merged together, Is that possible?
