Merge similar tags into one

I do not know if this is possible, but we have a directory here https://www.trade-free.org/directory/ and we allow users to submit stuff that they can tag themselves and at times we have tags such as “map” and “maps”. Would be great if in the backend would be a way to group these similar tags either manually our automatically. Would be great.

Well that’s way out of the scope of this plugin. I did find: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/term-management-tools/ and tested it out on my localhost install and although it hasn’t been updated in years, it worked for me.
I have nothing to do with that plugin so I can’t vouch for anything except my one simple test I just ran with it.
