Originally I had FileBird set to have folders per user but I want to merge all user folders so “Each user has his own folders?” is set to NO but other users can use each others folders. I want to do this because there’s only a couple people using the admin of the site.

    Hi Michael D,

    Thanks for contacting us.

Did you try to turn it off please? https://tppr.me/qcLwC

@michael-divine, it can be modified through the .csv export file.

Go to Settings > FileBird > Import/Export, click Export and download the whole folder structure.

In the .csv, under “created_by” column, set all the values to 0. Save the file and import it.

It seems they define it as: 1 → first user (aka admin), 2 → second user, and so on. Number 0 → universal user.

    Thanks @thuyntc! That worked great.

@mialewp: yes I did that. Turning off ‘Each user has his own folders?’ just makes all the folders vanish.

Exporting the CSV, changing the user number to zero and uploading it again makes the folders available to everyone.
