Merger of two WP accounts

  • Hello

    I am a new WP user and have moved from Blogger a few weeks ago. Mine is a self-hosted WP blog and I have never worked on WP before than that. I wanted to learn how to check my blog’s email subscribers and got directed to a forum where it was explained. But when I followed the steps I realised that my account on WP ( which I must have created a few years ago) is not the same as my profile for this new WP site. It says that I don’t have any blogs of my own and that I need to start building one. I am confused! How do I merge these two accounts?

    My WP a/c name: UKrasoi

    Also, I wanted to change the account name to “The veggie Indian”. Same as the site’s, but can only do it once its merged, else it will get confusing.

    it seems you are confusing between the two sites i.e.

    WordPress.com and Your Self-Hosted WordPress Site

    Both of these are two separate sites and accounts for both of them cannot be merged with each other.
