merging databases

    I just want to merge WP databases from two different domains on different servers.

    Will I be able to do this by importing one database/csv file using your free plugin.? Will there be any potential conflict with identical names, ids or image names? I am concerned about over-writing existing files.

    Would it be safer to export both as csv and then copy paste one to the the other to compare all posts first before importing. Or Am I just being too cautious?

    Sorry follow up to query above. Every review, question, feature description talked about importing and looked as if they were meaning importing data to new install. Nothing I had read mentioned merging or adding to existing database content so just wanted to check no shop, membership listings or anything fancy just plain old WP posts and pages etc.

    Yes, this is possible and should work straight away as there is no fancy plugins or features exist. Just ensure that duplicate checks for title and content are enabled to skip duplicate posts/content if any.
